Every design project has its own set of
needs, challenges, and requirements.

Methodology

While every design project has its own set of needs, challenges, and requirements, there are basic considerations and milestones that every project shares.

To ensure all project goals are met, we follow a methodical, consistent, and flexible development process that involves you, our client, throughout the project life cycle. Here's an inside look at the basic steps that we personally take behind the scenes when we design your project.

methodology

Our process consists of four basic phases:

  • Phase 1: Discovery
  • Phase 2: Design
  • Phase 3: Development
  • Phase 4: Delivery

Phase 1: Discovery

Before we begin any project, it is necessary to do some discovery work to obtain a clear understanding of your business and the goals you wish to achieve.

We will discuss your requirements for the project and identify exactly who your target audience is and what information needs to be communicated to them. Our major goal in this stage is to have a solid understanding of your vision and expectations for the project on all levels.

Based on the defined scope of the project, a cost and time estimate will be submitted to you for evaluation.

Phase 2: Design

Upon your approval to proceed, we will explore creative solutions to the issues that were identified in the "discovery" phase. Based on your requirements and scope, we will brainstorm and come up with creative concepts and innovative ideas that are aesthetically engaging and that communicate your message with clarity and purpose.

We will provide 2 to 3 solid design concepts for you to choose from. We will present our ideas to you for your review.

Phase 3: Development

This is the phase where your project comes to life. Once the concept has been finalized, we will proceed to fully develop the project from all aspects. This period allows Blue Oxygen to firm up the placement of content, while developing the user interface and navigation structures, if applicable. We will make the piece functional, fill in any missing gaps, and make any final modifications. Completion of a running prototype that can enter into product testing is the final goal of the development phase.

Phase 4: Delivery

Once the necessary testing has been completed, all details have been finalized, and you have approved the project, we will transfer the final deliverable(s) to you. If your project is a website, we will upload the site on the target server and launch your website. If necessary, we may need to conduct training or instruction on how to maintain various areas of your website or manage the final files.
